Time – An Illusion Created by the Brain or an Independent Reality?

Time is one of the most fundamental aspects of human experience. But is this concept an independent feature of reality, or merely a cognitive construct of the brain designed to organize conscious experiences? This paper explores how the brain creates the perception of time and whether time exists as a fundamental property of reality. By analyzing evidence from neuroscience, altered states of consciousness, and quantum physics, we argue that time is more of a cognitive tool than an intrinsic feature of the universe.
